I love this quote: In spite of the cost of living, it’s still popular. People should think like that when they get moaning and complaining about everything. It could always be worse and breathing sure beats the alternative.
Robert Frost had it right. Life indeed does go on. Today happened. Yesterday came and went. Tomorrow might happen, too. No matter what, life does go on, whether we’re in it or not, whether we make something of our days or whether we don’t. It’s a sad kind of funny.
Ha ha, I like this one: “Hospitality is making your guests feel at home, even if you wish they were.” I’ve felt like that many a time, especially when some of them start to take my hospitality for granted. It’s a challenge to still be a host when that happens, but you’ve got to love them anyway!
I also like the Robert Frost quote about life. No matter what situation we are in, even if we think the world is closing in on us or there is no hope to our problem, the fact remains that life does go on. It’s our choice – to continue living (and fighting) or to just succumb to the situation (and hopelessness), either way, life continues for us. I would rather live it with a positive outlook than with negativity in my heart.
