Life has taught me some pretty harsh lessons, but I always find them easier to learn when I keep my sense of humour.

I think that this quote holds a lot of truth: “Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how u react to it.” I remember my professor in psychology class. In one of his lectures, he emphasized how attitude can significantly influence behavior.

“life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how u react to it” This is probably my favorite saying here. It’s 100% true too. Life is really what you make of it – how you react. If we all took a few minutes to think about what to do and how it will affect others, things would not be so much drama!

“The trouble with the rat race is that even if you win you’re still a rat.” I love this quote! I’ve written it down to use in my newsletter next week. I publish a bi-weekly online newsletter about entrepreneurship and working from home and this is perfect to send my subscribers.

Some of these quotes would make awesome bumper stickers or wall placques. In fact, I’m going to save a bunch of them and see what I can come up with to share with my friends and family. Many will be easy to find an accompanying picture, too.

I came across this quote before and it has stayed on my mind since then : “Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how u react to it.” There are events in our lives that we have no control of. These may be unpleasant, but it’s how we deal with these situations that spell the difference.

I definitely agree that it is sometimes best to not argue with fools. They’re never going to get it, anyway, and you’re inevitably going to have to lower yourself if you try to get down on their level.

The anonymous quote about enjoying life because there’s plenty of time to be dead is “dead-on”. It reminds me of a tour guide that I had when I toured Italy. As we were rushing about from one sight to the next, she would encourage us by saying, “You can sleep when you’re dead!”
