I must say that I agree to this statement: “Life’s a fragile thing. One minute you’re chewing on a burger, and the next minute you’re dead meat.” Life is unpredictable. You might have mapped out what you want to do with your life, but in an instant you might find yourself changing all those details because of certain uncontrollable situations.

I like this quote: “I still haven’t met a cat that would be very concerned what mice are talking about him.” Though it’s funny, I think it also says don’t sweat the small stuff. Don’t spend your time worrying about what others think of you, because in the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t really matter.

My favorite in the list is: “Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can. ” My interpretation of this quote is that we should make the most of what life has to offer. Explore. Accept challenges. Continue to discover and re-discover what you can do.

George Bernard Shaw is one of the greatest minds of the past few hundred years. I can’t tell you how often I’ve come across some of his witticisms that showed insight beyond most people alive today.

That is a clever quote by Reba McEntire. Who knew she was a philosopher? I agree with her, too. Having a sense of humor is more important then a lot of people realize.

I can just envision certain people I know plunging through the trap door beneath Shakespeare’s stage. This is a great quotation. Laughter is the best medicine. I forget who said that, but it’s so true.

I like the line about going from chomping on a burger to being dead meat. It’s funny and it’s true. While life has its pleasures (such as enjoying a juicy burger), you shouldn’t get too comfy because it also has its perils.

Even though it’s worded kind of funny, the anonymous line about us all wishing to beat death seems true. We try to convince ourselves that dying is optional.

I wish I could find this one ” No diet will remove all the fat from your body, because the brain is entirely fat. Without a brain, you might look good, but all you could do is run for public office.” – George Bernard Shaw on a t-shirt. I absolutely love it, and with all of the politcal campaigning going on right now I think it would be a hit! :)
